David Gonzalez, age 31, of Stratford, was arrested by Fairfield Police when he was found dressed all in black in the middle of the 500 block of Post Road, said Sgt. Michael Stahl, of the Fairfield Police.
Officers arrived and found Gonzalez, who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, with the branch dancing in the middle of the roadway with the branch, Stahl said.
A background check found that Gonzalez had an active arrest warrant for violation of probation, Stahl added.
Gonzalez was held on a $10,000.00 bond.
